GeoMax dealers from across EMEA travelled to Germany in early January to attend a special two day training programme on the new XPAD for Android product.  The world’s first Android-based professional field application for survey and stakeout certainly created a buzz of excitement among the 25 attendees. The software combines the most advanced GPS and robotic total station hardware with applications developed around the Android platform. Features that impressed the dealers included the integration of Google maps, imagery to facilitate stakeout, CAD in 4D and office to field file sharing using cloud data exchange.   Muhammet Yilmaz from Geomatik Turkey commented, “This latest innovation using the Android platform will open up a world of new opportunities for my customers.
